  • A 19-year-old woman has died after being attacked by a dog at a property in Leaden Roding, Dunmow, Essex.
  • Emergency services were called to the scene at approximately 10:45 PM on Friday, where the woman was found with serious injuries and pronounced dead.
  • A 37-year-old man from the Dunmow area has been arrested on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death.
  • The dog believed to be responsible for the fatal attack has been seized by Essex Police, and the arrested man remains in custody.
  • Essex Police Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper confirmed that experienced detectives are leading an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
