  • He affirmed the UK's "cast-iron" support for Ukraine, stating it would "always endure" and continue under his successor, Andy Burnham.
  • His visit followed a Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, which killed at least two people and injured six others.
  • The overnight attack caused fires at two warehouses and damaged a school in the capital.
  • Ukraine's Air Force reported at least eight ballistic missiles were fired at Kyiv, alongside drone attacks on other cities.
