  • The BBC has announced four new pundits for Match of the Day, including Thomas Frank, Ashley Young, Toby Alderweireld and Robbie Keane.
  • The new additions join established experts such as Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer, with Gabby Logan, Mark Chapman and Kelly Cates continuing as presenters.
  • Saturday lunchtime programme Football Focus has been axed after 52 years on the air.
  • BBC One will replace Football Focus with a new show called The Football Interview, presented by Kelly Somers.
  • BBC Director of Sport Alex Kay-Jelski stated the updated line-up aims to put supporters firmly at the heart of the coverage.
